    Most likely this is a maintenance window, all large systems undergo down time to update files and defrag the databases. This is probably the time of day when they run all the tapes from the reporting parties, they donâ??t care if some of us are vampire credit watchers, because they are in league with the real bloodsuckers!!

    How often does this happen? The last time, I wasn't able to pull a report for 5 days.

    We tried this morning, got the busy message.

    Tried again in the middle of the day, the reports from the morning's attempts were there waiting.

    MONDAY I WAS ON AT 05:00 COLORADO TIME...BUSY!!! (THAT'S 04:00 CA TIME)!!!

    Wow..that is odd. I have checked mine and friend's report a couple of times a day for past week..never got a busy message. Have checked in middle of the day and after working hours and late as night.

    I think it MIGHT be a "45D FACTOR"

    GEORGE -- you're probably right. I've been grabbing my report regularly for a few weeks, but not even daily,and last count had only 46 hard+soft INQ's.
    Also, by coincidence just signed up for the 39.95 CW offer. Wonder if that's the problem.

    I think I have an idea what is happening. What I notice for me is that the problem starts when I try to pull a report when EFX is doing their batch processing, which is late at night. I get a message saying they are doing maintenance, and the report will be pulled when they are done, but it never gets pulled. After they finish their processing, when I try to pull a report I get the message that the system is busy and to try later. I've waited as long as three days to see if the problem ever clears itself up, but it doesn't, so you have to call EFX, tell them what's wrong, and they fix it; even then, you have to wait 24 hours for whatever they do with their system to take effect.

    In short, to stop this they should stop trying to queue reports when they are doing batch updates, because it doesn't work and just ticks people off. Instead, simply post a message saying to try later. This has happened to me 5 times now, and I've only had the service a month.

    Hope this made sense.

    I managed to get in and pull my report again.
