Yeahhhhhhhh They deleted the items. I got my mail and opened the report and they deleted the 8 items that they reinserted. I posted last week i was awaiting the results. Equifax brought back all 8 items that disappeared a few months ago. 7 were legit accounts(One RMA) I faxed and sent a letter reminding them and included copies of my reports that didn't show them., granted these were my accounts but i told them these accounts were previously deleted and i don't want you to reinvestigate, you must delete because i didn't receive any reinsertion notices per the 5 day law, and to ensure this want happen I want you to flag them for permanent delete. They deleted them!!!!!!!! score went up 94pts!!!!!!! Awesome..... on bad thing they removed a positive piece of credit CarLoan which was paid off R-1.. Have to contact them to put it back on... I needed this point Jump.. Now i await RMA, but if Eq has perm deleted them i wonder can they try to put the coll item back on since the OC validated it this week? Love i hope you're reinsertion works for you....

Ok, Done, at first it sounded to form lettered, so i made it sound like a slouch(i.e. run on sentences, broken grammar) but i hit hot words. "FCRA", "Reinsert" "Suppress" and etc...

    here u go

    Dear Equifax,

Iâ??m writing this letter to inform you that the current credit profile that youâ??re reporting for me is incorrect. Itâ??s also old and outdated. As you probably receive millions of request and concerns about incorrect information, Iâ??ve also included your file numbers that reference to this incorrect data. In January I called and informed you of this exact thing, which was corrected. The problem involves youâ??re reporting an old credit file that includes accounts thatâ??ve been removed by you. Please look at the most current file youâ??ve sent me â??Credit File Conf# . All my reports in January, February, and March reflect the correct file with an exception to some satisfactory accounts being deleted. Iâ??ve included the file numbers/Confirmation numbers to support my claim.

The following reports show the correct file Conf# dated . Conf# dated , Conf# dated , and Conf # dated . Please take a look at the â??Date Reportedâ? on the most current report file Conf# dated , and youâ??ll notice these dates are old reporting dates (98, 99, and 2000). When you compare this reports to the reports I mentioned above youâ??ll see that these reports have the â??accurateâ? up to date reporting dates, which are 2002 and late 2001 â??Date Reportingâ?, and donâ??t show the accounts which youâ??ve removed. Itâ??s pretty discouraging to see that youâ??ve â??Reinsertedâ? the accounts without notifying me within the 5 days supported by law, and you also totally show old date reporting for the entire file, which even include accounts youâ??ve recently reported with accurate 2002 dates.

Iâ??m going to request you correct my current file to reflect the correct dates reported and remove all the accounts that were previously removed by you, from our previous disputes. Iâ??m going to circle the accounts that shouldnâ??t be reporting as evident by your previous reporting. You can verify this with the included reports Iâ??ve attached. Itâ??s also apparent that these accounts keep coming back, so I ask that you permanently â??Suppressâ? these in order for them not to reappear. Equifax more importantly you canâ??t â??Re-investigateâ? these accounts as theyâ??ve already been investigated and deleted before, which fully comply with the FCRA.

If the accounts were actually deleted you should have receved a statement from Equifax as to that fact. If they simply disappeared from your report it was because they weren't verified within the 30 days. The 5 day notice is if they actually deleted and then were going to reinsert.Of course, I have seen many cases of official deletion and re-insertion without notice, but the only way you can get them on the violation is to send them a copy of the deletion letter.

    whychat,

I'm not quite sure I understand what you said.

What is the difference between the accounts being actually deleted (creditor/collector advising CRA to delete) and time running out on an investigation (and the creditor/collector never verifies/responds) and an account being deleted then?

Wouldn't a consumer receive a letter/statement either way showing the item as being deleted?

Well all i know is, Equifax cleared my file per my letter. I got a response back from them stating that, and it included a copy of my credit file. Some of the accounts i benefited, because i actually owed them, Do to some system error, these 8 accounts dissapeared, and for months they didn't show. During the time i was working on other stuff i kept the credit reports which had the conf#'s, when they all of the sudden re-appeared, that's when i spoke about the accounts being reinserted. Maybe not a true re-insertion, but i never got anything from Equifax, and how could i, because this obviously was a system problem. Whatever the case they must've knew the screw up and took the accounts off again, and if they appear again which i don't think so, i'll refer back to their letter the sent to me stating they've removed the accounts : ) GOT EM
