Good morning everyone, I had a few accounts that I disputed with Equifax a few weeks ago. They deleted a few tradelines and noted - "This is account has been deleted due to NO RESPONSE". If the information is later verified, it may be added back to the file. If this does occur, you will be notified. Ok..that's fine but the weird part about it is they "deleted" a judgement from my report last year sometime. No signs of it on any credit report. Now all of the sudden - they've deleted it again - and if the information is later verified, they will add it back to the file. Has this happened to anyone? That's really weird. Could these be hidden files? Please advise
What date on the report where all of this happened? The reason why I ask is that I just had 2 deletions from CSC (EQF affiliate) and there was no such notation on them. Either CSC is not doing the same thing or else my deletions were before they started doing this. I agree with Jlynn. Looks like they are making an effort to combat their reinsertion problems.
Mine is dated 5/27 too. I don't have a notation like that on these deletions. Maybe CSC is not adopting the EQF policy on this yet.
Thank you for the input. Yes the deleted accounts were paid student loans. This was notated on the response notice I received. And yes..they deleted my judgement twice. That would be a bloody good idea! lol Ok..that's fine but the weird part about it is they "deleted" a judgement from my report last year sometime. No signs of it on any credit report.
