I recently disputed three items on my EQ report (basically they were duplicates of other negative items on my report). When I did this my score went from 602 to 622. Would a lender see this higher score? I am trying to refi my auto and I know the lender used EQ. Thanks for the help.
That is the score that everyone will see. When you put an item in dispute with equifax, that item will not be considered in calculating your score, although the item will still appear on your report. If that item does get deleted, your score most likely will stay where it is. If it gets verified, it will go back to the lower score.
