I just went to Equifax's website to check the status of my investigation. They moved the "date investigation started" from 8/21/01 to 9/14/01 and the "date investigation is to be completed" from 9/20/01 to 9/17/01. Three days for a dispute? It is also a weekend!!! This only leads me to believe what we all have concluded: that Equifax like all other CRAs only spend a couple of minutes a month on only a single day to verify disputes with the creditors' computer files instead of speading 30 days doing it with actually forms. What a crock of sh**.
