Well, now it's time for me to clear up a few minor details on equifax. I sent them a detailed dispute letter and at the bottom I screwed up the last number on my SSN by 1 (I put 8 instead of 7...stupid typo). Well after getting my updated report from disputing a prior address, I noticed that all the things that I put in my last dispute letter said under it: DISPUTE IN PROGRESS. Then yesterday I get a letter saying: We received your request concerning your Equifax creidt file....the information you provided doesn't match the info on your file.....blah blah blah. A copy of 1 item in each of the categories is needed... OOPS! My bad! So now I have to resend the info along with a copy of my letter. Oh well...looks like this put a delay in my dispute.
