    Hey Folks!!

I finally got the last incorrect and negative item removed from my Equifax/CBC reports. This false collection item and two accurate late payments on a car several years ago were my only negatives. My score was sitting at 672. The erroneous collection account dated Nov/97 was deleted and it raised my score to a whopping 722!! A 50 point spread over a false collection item from 1997!! WOW!!! They are lucky that they removed it before I lost my patience...

Late pays will kill a score. I had 2 30 day lates being reported in error, as I never was late. I finally got it cleared up and my scor went up 38 points. These lates were showing as of 2/2000 and 3/2000 on a refinanced loan that was taken out in 11/2000. Makes alot of sense doesn't it.

    Thanks everyone!

Living life with only two good credit reports is a hassle. I was constantly inquiring on what company was used in the evaluation process with every imaginable creditor.. You can get around it, but it is a hassle nonetheless. Now I am home free...That makes #23 removed from Equifax. It was my worst report. I had about 16 negative items removed from Trans Union and 13 removed from Experian. It has taken me about a year and nine months in my spare time, but it was worth it. A whole lot better than filing a BK IMHO. Just goes to show that if I can do it, than so can anyone. Everyone here has been a friend and I have learned so much during the entire ordeal. Thanks Again!
