I disputed 3 CA accounts on hubby's report almost 1 month ago,2 paid 1 unpaid, I just used the SAME confirmation number to start another one (about a late pay) and now those 3 CA accounts are not there (they were there a week ago), does this mean they are gone?!?! I can't order an online report for him cause of a fraud alert on there. When I checked it a week ago it had said "Checked", now there gone!!! TIA!
I hope you printed it out so you have proof in case the CRA tries to re-insert without proper reason and notification to you.
Did you use the confirmation number you got AFTER you started the dispute?? If you used the same number as the intial dispute, then these items wouldn't appear, meaning you couldn;t dispute them again, if you used the new number you got after you started the investigation, then they may be gone, but if you used the orginal number they are probably still there
Baily- That's what I thought, but I used the same number a week ago and they were there, then I used it tonight and they're gone. That's what confused me. In actuality, they received the dispute 12/17/01 (CRRR) and when I FIRST checked it it was before the 30 days, and now it's AFTER the 30 days, know what I mean? I sure as hell don't lol. Hopefully I'll get the updated report in the next few days and know for sure. I'll keep you posted!
Don't count on them being actually gone until you get the paper results. I had the same thing to me last week-online with the confirmation number they were gone but on paper they were still there. I was told it was a web site technical problem.
