Still got some more deletions to go. I just got off the line with Vicki Banks and she conf me on line with one of my creditors and guess what, she got them for illegal reporting (reaging) my account. WOOHOOO!!!! Deletion a few more to go.
Yeah they are bound by law...here is what happened... July 2000...I get my report (didn't know anything about Creditnet) Bad stuff, but I figured well hey let's let 7 years run it's course. Then June 2001, I request another report...This school I attended 9/88-6/89 is reporting. The dumb lady had the nerve to tell EQ that DLA was 7/91 but they turned it over to the US Dep. ED 5/98 and since that was DLA (to them) that they were gonna report it anyway. Mrs. Banks politely told her that she couldn't since the date of delinquency was 1991...I should sue them......I am just happy that it is off!
How did you manage that? They actually did a conference call? Is the consumer's advocate's office handling your file? If not, was it a supervisor that you spoke to?? Enquiring minds would like to know.......
It was the consumer advocate's office. We had to do a conference call because the stupid school would not speak to her without my permission. She was really nice. I have to send a kudos letter to Bob and Robin about Vicki.
Hey, I found out today Vicki is also handling my case. I haven't actually spoken with her yet though. Maybe I'll call her after the 22nd (when my investigation results are due).
Did she send you her number?...She is really nice. We played a lot of fone tag, but I finally gave in and gave her my work number. See Christi cheer up...things will get better...just be patient!!
Mrs Vicki Banks of Equifax just calle dme back tolet me know that the deletion is a done deal and as soon as my current investigation is complete that they will delete this item.......Oh yeah BABY...see Christi...just be patient...it will happen.
