Someone posted a very interesting account of their experience with the Equifax.com consumer web site. I can't access my credit report online either. They keep saying that they are updating the system and that my order has been captured and they will let me know once my request has been processed. I have been getting this same message for three days. I want my report to check on a dispute that I filed that has exceeded 30 days......
Call equifax and tell them what happened. They will complete the order while you are on with them and you will be able to view your report within 2 minutes.

Re: EQUIFAX MESS thread at Bayhouse Hey guys. I've been away for a while but reading this thread is making me have an out of body experience. The same thing is happening to me. I wish I had a phone recorder because I have gotten into 2 shouting and hang-up matches with those people in the past month. Since last month, I haven't been able to access my file. Same message keeps popping up when I try to buy my report. At first, I was given the runaround about it being a technical problem and I even had to hang up on them because the rude woman wouldn' t even let me explain my situation. She was rude and she is always answers the phone on mondays in the a.m. So, I calmed down and finally got someone else on the phone and explained my situation and she instructed me to fax in ss card and proof of address. I did and waited for 2 weeks and when I still couldn't get my report online, I called again. I called and got the same rude twitch on the phone and I told her that I wanted a specific explanation as to why I couldn't access my file as I had before. She kept avoiding my questions and raising her voice at me so I raised my voice. Finally I ended the call by screaming in her ear as loud as possible and hung up. The only thing I got out of that was I needed to send in a copy of a DL and SS card by mail, not fax and there was no specific reason given. So, I guess I am marked as well. This is a situation where I would gladly pay a lawyer to do some legal damage if possible because I am tired of being treated like crap. She also told me that they would not give me access to my file unless I did what they wanted and could not get my score as well. I am going to try PFB to see if I will have any success.... EQ sucks!!!!
