Geez, seems like everyon wants to piss meoff today. 30 days were up, check, nothing. Check previous report, the "Consumer disputes, investigation in progress" remark is gone from all the reports up until May 26. I had disputed it on May 19th. Should have printed a copy I guess. Gib
don't I know it! I have problems with them and Experian. For experian, I disputed Transouth on my bureau. Today, the 30th day, it says verified 6/2000. So get this... Account open 5/1997 reported since 1/1995 closed 1/2000 (charged off $358 of high bal of $738) last reported 10/2001 $395 past due as of 10/2001 30 days late 11/1997, 1/1996 60 days late 5/1997 included in BK CH13 1/2000 - 10/2001 EXCUSE ME??? reported for 2 years before I allegedly got loan. Late 30 days 1.5 years before loan, 60 days late when loan opened. I got title to $10000 car 2/2000. so I was past due 1 year 9 mo later. My CH13 was discharged on 1/2000. Called Transouth. They cannot find this account in their system! Told to call the office where the loan originated... Ft. Worth TX. Oops, office does not exist anymore! I do have a current loan with Arcadia. They merged with Transouth 10/2002. This is the only loan they can find. Manager of Transouth in NC claims "we don't report to bureau" (bullsh*t). Called Experian and told them all of the above. (I have disputed this twice.) CSR says, this doesn't make any sense (Well, I got someone with intelligence!!) But, instead of agreeing to delete, she sent it to their data evaluation office. She told me that the problem is that I disputed online and all online disputes are handled as "not mine" disputes regardless of what you enter! (Excuse ME?????) So the crap continues!
I had an account with Transouth as well. I paid the car off two months ago. Since they were sold to Arcadia they have changed all account numbers, so when I disputed all my lates, the CRA's couldn't verify the account. since the account number did not exist anymore. They changed my account number about 5 months before I paid it off and there were no lates, so I was happy they had to delete because they couldn't verify the old account number.
