I know this has come up before....but I really need some help! All of a sudden, I can no longer get my online Equifax report from their website (EQUIFAX). I even have their membership (yearly) product. I have a couple "free" reports remaining and when I click to get one.....it comes up saying how busy the system is...and they'll let me know when the report is ready....days and days ago. I called and they said they would look into it & "maybe" my file was now "too long" to view online. What does anyone know about this and what can be done? Thanks!!
I got the same exact thing. My Credit Watch stuff does not show up, and I can't view a new score power report. When I called to complain, that is when I found out they had 3 profiles on me, and that the profiles were specifically coded "DO NOT COMBINE" So until they merge my profiles, I can't access the online services anymore.
So what the heck are those three profiles? Was your profile too long? Did they have anything useful to say?
Well, I called the 1800 number for the online services help. They found the three files, and told me to call the normal Equifax number that you call when you have questions on your report. He also gave me a confirmation number since you need one to speak to a live person. I called that number, gave them the confirmation number, explained the situation and gave them names on all three profiles (one was my full name, one was my first initial, no middle name, and my last name, and the third was my full name, but with the first letter of my first name wrong). They told me I had to mail a copy of my SS card and DL. I mailed this, but I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm still waiting.
