Hi team- I have 2 disputes with Equifax that are still showing 'Pending' status from over 6 months old. I'm hoping I'll be able to use this as leverage to have the items removed. Anyone encounter this before? Dispute Date: 1/26/12, Completion Date: 02/17/2012 (Estimated) Dispute Date: 11/30/11, Completion Date: 12/29/2012 (Estimated) Do I remember exactly what was disputed? Unfortuanately, no. Any ideas as to how I can best tackle this with a win?
Send them a follow-up letter, reminding them of their legal obligations per the FCRA. Send your letter CMRRR, and please let us know how it goes! Hopefully both will get deleted for you since they failed to complete their investigations and respond within a 30-day time period.
