Filed an online inquiry on 11/30/03. Today I received a letter stating the following: "Below are the reults of your request for Equifax to reinvestigate certain elements of your credit file. Equifax contacted each source directly and our investigation is now completed. Enclosed is an updated copy of your credit file." Funny because the report remains the same except for one hard inquiry that was removed. But under each item I disputed it says "CONSUMER DISPUTES REINVESTIGATION IN PROGRESS" What is a reinvestigation? Can I send the 30 day letter on Dec 30 or does it start all over again? Help please I am new to this, thanks!
