My equifax score on July 26, 01 was 588.

I haven't been able to pull it since August, so I tried tonight and was surprised to see it at listed at 642.

I have 1 collection that should come off from this report and two accounts that are paid charge offs. Everything else is in good shape. I do have too many inquiries w/in the last 6 months, but nothing like the 19+ on TransUnion.

To all those frustrated with the pace of credit improvement - believe me, having a little patience is worth it. (of course, following up with creditors, collectors and CRAs helps as well). Good luck to all!

FICO ignores anything under investigation.... The spike could be temp if you have something challenged and it comes back verified.

Well, since the cornflakes are already soggy...! LOL!

My FICO jumped from 489 to 606 while I was disputing items (gives you an idea of how many I was disputing, eh?!)

And that sucker went right back to 489 when they denied most of them!

I tell you, some days I have to look UP just to see DOWN!

Hi all -- nothing currently under dispute on this report. So I guess... my corn-flakes are crispy?
