Is what you see what the creditors see?

ex: My score is 633 on Equifax, If I was to go to a dealership and apply for a car, would they see that score or something higher or lower, assuming nothing changed.

I am waiting on about 8 accounts to show paid off. Maybe this will help.

    Please tell me your experiences.

    thanks

I know TU varies like that, just wondering if Equifax did.

How did you get your Equifax score?

ONLY if you got it via myfico.com, can you be sure it is a true FICO score. Everything else is a different scoring model, and almost assuredly will yield a different score. Higher or lower?...do you care if it is a "fake" number (ie not what the creditor will see).

That does NOT mean that the score your creditor sees is a ture FICO either. Although I have heard no evidence of a standard or lack of standard from creditors scoring systems/services being true FICO scores or not.

I got it from the Equifax web site and ordered it with Score power. I never looked to see if it was MyFico or not. Will a dealership see my score of 633, what I got from the Equifax web site?

So, can I assume that MyFico is connected with the Equifax site and that score is what the creditor will see?

thanks for the help in clarifiying.

Score Power is the brand name for MyFico.com service, so it is a true FICO score.

I would say that your chances are pretty good that your creditor will see a very similar score, if they run your Equifax score.

...Of course if they pull TU or Ex you are not going to get a similar score.

You got it from the right place.
