I received a UDF to change a charge off account to a R1 (MOP 1). This UDF form was sent to Equifax by the OC and faxed by me. Equifax, I guess didn't believe the form mail by the OC and faxed by me so they called the OC to verify. Crazy, the account rep was not notified of the change via the manager, who got approval from the CFO to update to a R1. When Equifax contacted the account rep they said the status is an R9 and the R1 mailed and faxed must be a mistake. Now, I feel like a fool and Equifax might suspect I was being fraudulent. First thing in the morning I am going to call the Manager and tell him this was quite embarrising. Now I feel like this might affect my future disputes. I am so mad I feel like suing someone.
Call EQUIFAX and say----->"THEIR RIGHT HAND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE LEFT HAND IS DOING...I HAVE THE SAME FAXED UDF AND THE REP. WAS WRONG IN SAYING IT WAS A MISTAKE (NO AUTHORITY)"
