I chatted with Equifax today to try and get some things resolved. They had my birthday wrong my name wrong, my place of employment wrong, a duplicate of a mortgage company which they said they would delete. I have some very old trade lines dating back from 1993 and 1994 they are in good standing as they have been paid with no lates but I was inquiring on how long they stay on the report and the lady said they would stay on for 10 years is this correct? I did dispute 3 negatives which will be put up for investigation It just astounds me that invalid information can totally destroy a persons credit. My current credit is almost near perfect it's just the old stuff that is pulling my scores down. When my employment is verified (been there 18 years) will that put a point or two on my score? Sorry to be so long I am still new at this
