2 months ago, I had an account (2 actually) that were sent for deletion from a single CA. I copied the letters and sent them to the CRA as well as I don't trust the CA's to do so. Well since recipt of those leters, Equifax did not reprrt them and I assumed they were deleted, until I got a new report in the mail Tuesday... with one of the 2 back on it.

Did they reinsert one? It's been 2 months. What should my next course of action be if it does mean they've reinserted it? I mean even the CA decided it wasn't mine. and today has been 5 days and there has been no notification if they were going to do so.

    Ah...

And what about an insurance inquiry that showed up after I told the insurance agent that I did not want a hard inquiry pulled? I actually told the man that if he was going to I'd get up and leave... and now I find out he did pull one. What's the best way to deal with this situation?

I'd like to drive over there and ... well, you know.

I would let him know that you are planning to sue if he doesn't take it off. I mean, you distinctly told him that if he was going to that you were going to get up and leave. How much more clear would you have to be? He could have gotten a copy of your report from you instead of pulling it UNAUTHORIZED. Send him a letter outling the laws he has broken(State and Federal) and give him a deadline to get the inquiry off. If he doesn't, file the suit. Why is it that you have to sue someone to get them to follow the laws?
