I disputed 2 inquiries on my account.

    06/13/2002 The Prudential
    06/12/2002 ID-Equifax Consumer Services, Inc
    06/06/2002 Equifax-Auto MTNC Update
    05/28/2002 Equifax - Update
    05/24/2002 AR-Capital One
    05/24/2002 Risk Management Alternatives
    05/20/2002 PRM-Consumer Portfolio Services
    05/13/2002 Discover Financial Services

Equifax would NOT dispute Inquiries. They also would NOT remove a collection account that I had disputed since 2001. They told me I would have to contact all of these companies myself. She seemed very nice lady on the phone, but she just wouldn't work with me.

    Any help?

Also, my credit score dropped on Equifax from 579 to 563 in 2 days from inquiries. How the hell can this be when 2 tradelines with Student Loans were updated to show NEVER LATE, and Pays as agreed. Is it because Sears updated a sold account to show 120 days past due. I paid RMA (who they sold it to) in 5/2001. Sears shows last activity date of November of 1996, and RMA shows the same account Last Activity of 5/1996. Whats the deal?

It seriously dropped my score. I called Equifax and told them that the account had been paid in full and they shouldn't be reporting it that way. They sent a dispute to Sears.
