    Anyone having trouble with Equifax this afternoon
    "Sorry unable to process request system busy etc .."

    I have a problem with Equifax--today they updated the status to "checked" on a collection account that I actually forwarded a letter to them from the OC stating that the account was fraudulent.

    Should I sue 'em or call them back and nicely ask them to delete?

    DELETE OR PAY...their choice.
    Maybe they WANT TO GIVE YOU $1,000 because they like you???

    I sent their local division and intenet to sue letter after they verified false information and one hours, yes count it one hour later they called and said they had deleted it. In the letter instead of saying ' will sue you' I instead listed every FCRA statute they violated along with the costs involved and voila- away it went.
