Recently ordered my first credit report of the 3 bureaus from myfico.com. 2 reports came out okay, while the thrid report had someone else's name and birthday on it and my name listed as a "former name" and my correct "SSN'.

what should I do? how do I even know if this is suppose to be my report and not a mistake on myfico.com's system? I can write to the bureau about the mistake, but since the report was provided to me via myfico, there may not be a mistake on my actual file. argh, I really want myfico to give my money back!

myfico is about as accurate as your going to get - LOL! myfico is owned by fair isaac company which produced FICO for the CRA's.

write to the erred bureau with proof of name, ssn and current utility bill and make sure they send you an updated report after they fix it.

you would know if it is your report based on what is reporting.

    Yikes..

I actually did made a request to myfico for either varifying that's my report or refund my money, and a couple of hours after my request, they emailed me and said my money is refunded.

So, yeah, contacting Equifax (the error report) will be my next step.

The details in the error report accounts to about half of my things that are refered to on the other 2 reports. So, it's probably 90% sure that it's indeed my report, just with someone else's name and ssn.

All in all, I am pleased w/ myfico though. They were very fast to respond and didn't make any excuses.
