I have Citibank Upromise Platinum. While on phone with member services she tells me about yet another Citi affiliated program! In a good mood, so I listen. Annual fee $79.95! Ugh, no thanks. But I keep listening (really good mood?). After she is done I decide to try program. Can get a full refund within 6 months. Benefits that caught me: Buy $25 gift card for Target (one of the available retailers) with a credit card. Does ot have to be Citibank card. On the statement I will receive a charge for $25 and a credit for $5. (20% discount!!) This can be done for up to $250 per retailer (means up to $50 back per retailer. Other stores listed include The Home Depot, Sears and others. Get up to $40 annual by turning in receipts for haircuts. Any chain. A free magazine subscription (very limited selection of women's mags). Plus, for signing up a $50 savings bond. No, I am not a sales person for Citi. But between The Home Depot and Target I will more than pay for the annual fee. Sorry so long, thought someone might like the info.
