going through the same thing with my brother (he has zero history) i tried one of the worst credit cards first premier and they need at least one account in good standing to get their god awful card, you could either get a co- signer or take your pick at just about any secured card, i got a 99 for 500 secured card with capitol one i like real well, gave me a line increase after 3 months, interest rate is high 19.24% but when you don't got no choice, what are you gonna do. hope this helps
