What does an inquiry with an EU next to it mean?? I'm trying to figure out if the mortgage company pulled my report yet. I see EU-Retail Alliance. This isn't an update, right? I don't see any other EU's in my inquiry section. Please help! I'm going CRAZY while waiting to hear from the mortgage company! TIA

When my mortgage company intially pulled my reports, they were EU notations next to the inquiries, hard by the way. I think this is possibly a mortgage code, but appears to be an inquiry none the less.

Thanks momof3. I just checked credit Expert and noticed that it is in the hard inquiry service. Too soon to tell how many pts lost on Experian. So far no points lost on Equifax. Not sure about Trans Union. Anyway, thanks again for the response!

Ouch...Trans Union dropped from 772 to 759 with ONE inquiry....

You won't loose any points on EQuifax until it reaches 30 days old. Been there, done that.
