I just converted my BofA platinum to a banking benefits card, 1% cash back and can start being redeemed as low as 10$. My only question is, is they said it will be transferred effective immediately and I will recieve my new card in 2 weeks, BUT if I start spending BIG bux on it tomorrow, will this count towards my rewards? Same question for amex, if I did a product transfer today, BUT my billing cycle does not end until the 30th do I get rewards for my spending this month? Just curious if anyone might know Thanks in advance Citi is now also one of my FAVE cards, it goes with chase for carrying balances, only had my dividend card for 1 month and the already lowered the rate from 11.99 to 8.99%, pretty nice for only being opened for a month, huh?
I just did the conversion as well. It sounds like a good deal. I didn't see this card on their website though, so sometimes I guess they hide certain cards.
Also, the CSR told me that the card has 2% cashback and not 1% and that it is a flat rate, not tiered like Discover Card. Does anyone know anything on this? If it's true, that is a really good deal for a cashback card.
