I just converted my BofA platinum to a banking benefits card, 1% cash back and can start being redeemed as low as 10$. My only question is, is they said it will be transferred effective immediately and I will recieve my new card in 2 weeks, BUT if I start spending BIG bux on it tomorrow, will this count towards my rewards?

Same question for amex, if I did a product transfer today, BUT my billing cycle does not end until the 30th do I get rewards for my spending this month?

Just curious if anyone might know:)

    Thanks in advance

Citi is now also one of my FAVE cards, it goes with chase for carrying balances, only had my dividend card for 1 month and the already lowered the rate from 11.99 to 8.99%, pretty nice for only being opened for a month, huh?

I just did the conversion as well. It sounds like a good deal. I didn't see this card on their website though, so sometimes I guess they hide certain cards.

Also, the CSR told me that the card has 2% cashback and not 1% and that it is a flat rate, not tiered like Discover Card. Does anyone know anything on this? If it's true, that is a really good deal for a cashback card.
