A little OT, but I have to share: I haven't seen a cable bill since May. No big deal, but I was worried about it, so I called the co. last week; the rep confirmed that my address was right, but the zip code was wrong. The CS agent acted like I was trying to trick them by changing my address to avoid paying. She wanted to fight me, and I was in a hurry, so I rattled off my CC#, paid in full. Monday morning I have a charge of $860 on my American Express from Time Warner (!!). Obviously I call them back within seconds of checking my statement. This rep blames computer error (hmmm) and says she'll fix it. I get home tonight, the cable is OFF, another call to "CS," they tell me that they can't help me b/c my account is $110 behind, and I have to deal with the collections department. ...Which is closed until 8am tomorrow. Does this happen to everyone, or just me?!?!?
