I'm been trying to get hubby to see the light on his cross county cards for some time....well, for whatever reason, they have been decent with him but I realize it's a timebomb..

so, he got an offer from cap 1 and he took it! That is the first step from having CC go bye-bye. Arent' you proud of me??

Despite what some have said, Capital One is a good bank, especially when you compare it to Cross Country. When include the executive office response to the Capital One Plus side, it jumps up in customer service. I do not even bother calling the customer representatives anymore.

Tell him to "Just freakin listen to you already"!

After being a member of this board, for this long, you know more about the credit industry than 99% of the population, including those who work in the credit industry. LOL

Congrats. Tell him he is now on step 2, only 11 more to go. (thousand that is) :))

Congratulations. I won't ask what you did to convince him.

Capital One is certainly much better than the other bank. Capital One is merely annoying, in that it treats your name like its own private property, telemarkets you to the point of brainwashing, and rarely gives you anything in return unless approved by the almighty computer.

The other bank, on the other hand, initiates an adversary relationship the day you apply for the card. This relationship could be compared more accurately to a continually ongoing lawsuit than to credit in the normal sense of the word.

Congrats Nana on your finally getting through to hubby. My hubby was offered a Cap 1 Gold card in June and I had him jump on it. As much as Cap 1 is sub prime and believe me right now we don't have a lot of choices after last year, it definitely is a stepping stone in the opposite direction of where we are coming from.

BTW hubby got the offer mentioned by SofaKing for CCB yesterday. He never even saw it, I get home before him and got to it before he did!
