Gulf State credit is harrasing me for nothing .If you are one of the helpless victim of evil Gulf state credit like me please stand up together against it's illegal activities by filing complain to Federal, state and consumer-right agencies like FTC, State attorney and Better Business Bureau. Sure I will appreciate your honest support
Why do you keep posting the same thing every day? If you have something to say regarding what they are doing this is not helping you or anyone else.
Because this way everybody can share their experiance with Gulf State credit and then Someone can forward all this thread to FTC .
Why the hell my opinion bothering you.Seems like you work for Gulf state or you have some interest involve with gulf state credit/OSI Tell us the truth. I can express my opinion as many times as I want . And why the hell it bother you? If you do not like it , just stay off from creditnet.com ,you goof.
Yes, you can post your opinion as many times as you want. But when you keep repeating yourself over and over, people will tire of it quickly, and then no one will respond.
Thanks LKH, for your opinion. The reason I am posting so many messages about gulf State because I am very upset about their activities. Here is what they are doing with me , They did delete and then reinserted the same account under a different name (i.e. OSI or Palisade collections) And after harassing me with all those They sold the same account to someone else and are still reporting it with CRA continuously and it seems like this game never will end.
Have you gone thru the validation yet? If not, get started with it. Letters can be found in the letter section. If you have, then I assume they didn't validate, in which case I will give you the same advice I gave Butch - call Sam Shannon in compliance on Monday. Advise him that since they cannot validate, and transferring to another agency to get out from any validation is a violation, you want it deleted today.
ROFL mhoss007 you crack me up. hummm... maybe you're onto somethin here LKH. If I were running a CA and someone demanded val. I'd probably sell it real fast to another unsuspecting ca. That way I could at least get a few bux for it knowing that since I can't validate I'd lose it anyway. What law is this a violation of? RICO perhaps? Let's try sending a letter to CA #2 telling them that CA#1 obviously could not provide validation and that YOU (CA#2) was stupid enough to purchase a nonperforming DEAD asset. (I sure hope you didn't pay much for it - LOL). Then CA#2 will get good and pissed at CA#1 and force them to take it back, maybe? Just thinkin out loud cause I don't think that's been tried yet. Whatcha think experts??? B.
Now THAT is an extremely good idea. I had that happen with one of my debts. I sent the validation, two weeks later is was down on my CR with another CA. That is a totally different approach to the letter that just might work!!!
I think it would fall under 609 of the FDCPA - Continued collection activity. When validation is lawfully requested, the ca must cease collection until they validate. Continued reporting to cra's is collection activity and I think selling the acct off to another ca would/could be construed as continued collection activity.
That is the million $$ question. The only suggestion I have is to file complaints with the FTC, your state Atty General, the BBB, their state Atty General and whoever governs ca's in your state. Also, send your demand/intent to sue, and then follow thru if necessary. However, in your case, if you call Sam Shannon tomorrow, I really don't see you having a problem eliminating it.
