Is it normal for a dispute to block access to a lender? I disputed some tradelines with EX and EQ and can pull the records myself from myfico, but my broker cannot. Will hear monday what the error was. Should I expect the access to be open after 30 days from receiving the Green Return Receipt or should I call them to complain?
I've heard of access being blocked when there is potential litigation between the consumer and the CRA, but not for just a dispute of some item as provided for in FCRA. What do the CRAs say?
Did the disputes allege possible identity theft? Were there any issues of mixed files, identity, or erroneous addresses?
