I know some of the regulars on the board here have seen their newly available scores. Has anyone confirmed yet that a soft inquiry is the result by seeing a credit report after receiving their score?

I remember that Saar alerted us almost immediately that E-loan resulted in a hard inquiry.

Those are not FICO scores, but if you mean the Credit Expert service, mine showed a soft inquiry by them.

Yeah -- it's soft. And it generates one almost every day.

Ditto. When you pull your credit report after viewing your score (Experian Credit Score - NOT FICO), you see the soft inquiry on it.

Thanks to all of you for your responses.

It is great to hear that only a soft inquiry resulted.

Saar, you are right. The newspapers here in CA. reported that the score is not strictly FICO. However, it is similar enough, that I don't think anyone would make a bad investment here after the free 30 day interval is up.

I will sure consider it when my hard inquiries from lenders age somewhat. Right now, I don't want to look. LOL
