I sent disputes in via snail mail to both EQ and EX about 3 weeks ago. I just obtained memberships to CW and CE last week and notice that only some of the disputed items are tagged as being disputed. The others haven't been updated at all. I thought they were to remain in dispute status for 30 days or updated? Does this mean the CRAs did not dispute them? What course of action do I have? Can I have them removed? Should I dispute on-line or wait to see if they are updated next week?
EQUIFAX some of mine are showing in dispute...none of my wife's are showing... DID ON-LINE... EXPERIAN...ALL ARE SHOWING.
Thanks George. So what's up with the CRAs? Do they dispute but don't show? Or are they considering the dispute frivolous? Have you ever had a TL drop off that you had disputed but didn't show as disputed? Do we have grounds for demanding the TL to be deleted? Thanks for your input George
Thanks Kbanger. I called Experian Friday, and after being put on hold for 30 min got a person who helped by deleting old personal information, but when I asked her why all my disputes weren't showing up she got really short with me and said she couldn't help me, and hung up. Of course this is after she noticed I had disputed all hard inq's with Doc's trick...
