I posted earlier...but have a new question. My ex-husband and I had 3 joint accounts still owed when we divorced. He took over the payments and is current on all of them. Problem is the debt is fairly large and makes me look like I'm in debt more than I am...which doesn't say much! We've been divorced for 3 years and I've contacted the companies, but they will not do take my name off of the accounts. What should I do?!
If you two can still speak...(nicely)...close the "JOINT" account...transfer it to an "INDIVIDUAL" account...
