I disputed some items on experian, the sent me a report with the fist page showing which items I was disputing and when they would be completed. However on the actual report where it itemizes each tradeline it does not state that I am disputing this these items. Do I have them on a violation? Also they are some items that they said they verified on 7-7002, then they deleted them. What is up with that?
We had some discussion about this a week or so ago. Many said they felt it was a violation, but I couldn't see anything that stood out positively as a violation. I'll see if I can find the thread.
This is a little OT, but how did you do the disputes? People are always talking about getting some sort of confirmation, both through the mail and online. I NEVER have received any kind of confirmation any time I've disputed anything. I always do it online, and print it out. I've never had a problem, but just curious why I've never received any sort of confirmation. also, did you check your report online. You can do it by clicking on request an investigation, and it brings you to your report. You can tell if it's in dispute because the item shows up in blue. HTH
Tracy, Online it says that I was disputing it, but I also got a paper report from them in the mail where some said they were being disputed and others said nothing. The main reason in the first page of your report lists what you are disputing and when the dispute will be finished and some of the items listed are not marked as being disputed in the report. Some even said verified and them a week later were deleted.
Wish I had that 'problem' with Experian ) Here is the link. Amazingly enough, it's a thread called 'Not Marked "In Dispute" ???'
