What did you say, and what was their response?

    Here it is...

    I double-posted:

Experian refused to re-investigate some disputes that came back verified last year.

So I sent them a procedural request asking them to tell me exactly how they verified the disputes. They sent me back the tired letter saying that I didn't tell them in detail WHAT I disputed about the accounts.

I wish I had done so in the procedural request letter, but my short answer is the same thing I said last time--they are NOT mine!

Do you really think I should send them another request/ITS or should I just file suit? I really want to just file suit.

    What do you think?

    jlynn,

    I wrote:

You have refused to allow me to dispute some erroneous accounts because you say that you have verified them.

Please provide me with the procedures used to verify the following wrong accounts:

    [List of accounts]

All of the above are on a credit report dated May 2003 with a report number of xxxxxx.

I request that you provide the specific procedures you used to do so, including name, address, and phone number of the person you verified with. Please verify ALL data for these accounts, every date, balance, and notation...

They replied: "The items listed below could not be investigated because you didn't tell us specifically why the information is inaccurate. Please send us detailed reaons why the information is inaccurate, then we will be able to begin our verification process."
