    Duke,

You can't make them respond to anything.

Procedural req.'s are usually something added to build a papertrail against a CRA for FCRA violations.

Procedurues are more or less a joke to the CRA's. They often don't respond and if they do, it is usually by means of a form letter that has nothing to do with your specific procedural request.

    cinderella is right...

When they decide to provide an answer to a procedurals request it usually says.

When we receive a dispute, we contact the furnisher and ask them to verify the information that they are reporting.

Basically that's the 1 sentence version of their 2 or 3 paragraph statement.

They never want to explain the procedures for investigating YOUR dispute; this is what you need to FORCE them to appear in court to explain. And usually they just say the exact same thing on the stand from what the one thread containing the NACA attorney's testimony on the FCRA recounting his own personal depositions.

We boiled their x page letter into a few digit code, and then asked the company to verify what they were reporting related to that few digit code.
