I was talking to stbx(soon to be ex) last night about credit and credit reports. He is in an industry where he sees credit reports and pulls them daily and has for the past 15 years. He told me he seldom sees any scores over 700. I am wondering if this is because his business deals will sub prime accounts? Then I was telling him a little about message boards online(no specifics) and he was telling me not to bother with these message boards and that he knows everything there is to know about credit reports and fixing them. I didn't say much to that but inside I was thinking yeah you know so much about it and that is why our credit has been cuss word since we got married and that is why he has foreclosed on 2 properties and filed BK7 3 times. =)
it probably has to do w/the subprime market or type of financing offered. i used to do subprime where "good" credit was considered a score of 650 and a 700 would give us a heart attack. nowadays i am working a different lending market and i rarely see scores below 680.
MIne are all over 700 - I bet lots of people here have scores that high. Sounds like "soon to be ex" is a good idea, LOL.
It never ceases to amaze me. Mine hover over 700 and I've just discharged a BK13. I can safely attribute this to having been on forums like Creditnet and Creditboards for 3 years.
* Then Why are his in such PPS.? ***What business does a guy like this have pulling anybodys reports?
Re: Re: Ex say seldom sees anyone o 1. Exactly! 2. It is part of his job I am glad I found this place! I am soooo tired of having bad credit. One day I will have a 700..
Re: Re: Re: Ex say seldom sees anyone o i think lbrown meant this guy should have no business doing anything w/anyones credit given his own problems. (btw, lbrown, i'm surprised you haven't said that about me )
Re: Re: Re: Re: Ex say seldom sees anyone o If you pull FICO from Experian's site, it says the median score is somewhere around 700.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Ex say seldom sees It's 678 according to experian, 681 in my state. The 2 lowest are Texas & Nevada. Look here: http://www.nationalscore.com/
