Disputed an account with AGF (OC) with Experian online as not mine. Results came back as updated. Comparing my old report with my new report, the only thing that has been updated is my credit limit. My old report listed my credit limit from $1391. My new report lists it as N/A. So this is how it looks on paper Old report: AGF Open 11-95 report: 11-95 Date status: 8-98 Last report: 8-98 credit limit: $1391 High Bal: N/A Recent Bal: N/A Recent Pay: N/A Account transferred/charged off $946 written off New Report: AGF Open 11-95 report: 11-95 Date status: 8-98 Last report: 8-98 credit limit: N/A High Bal: N/A Recent Bal: N/A Recent Pay: N/A Account transferred/charged off $946 written off. Is this actually considered an update? I'm thinking now I should do a procedural request with an ITS. I hope I'm learning right. What should I do?
I'm not an EXPERT (I only play one on TV)...I think it must be stated as balance $0...the $946 MUST BE REMOVED...AND I THINK THE CHARGED OFF NEEDS TO GO TOO!!! TRANSFERRED/SOLD part is fine...
Dispute as "incorrect DOLA". How can they know when the account's reporting period is up without the payment history?
