Mcafee Viruscan and ZoneAlarm ain't playing well together nomore.

Since Mcafee updated, Mcafee is bein a bully, and wants ZoneAlarm gone. If ya go to the Mcafee board, the techs are telling you do do this, do that, delete this, delete that. I paid good money for Mcafee, and no way should I have to go through stuff like that to make the update work.

By d way, no matter what they tells ya to do - DON'T GET RID OF ZONEALARM!!

Since Mcafee ain't playin well with others, until it does, it's suggested ya download http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

This is the free version of AVG Anti-Virus Free

It's a clean program, all the info you need is on the site, and it's not a bloatee loadee like Mcafee.

The scanner that I have been using, I downloaded for free from Cyberdefender's website. I haven't had any problems at all since I started using it. I actually ended up paying for the upgraded version to get rid of all of the junk that the scan found on my computer. This version also has 24/7 technical support. They will answer any computer questions you have, not just about Cyberdefender. They have been a real lifesaver for me.

I have Spybot Search and Destroy and it works fine for me. It gets updates regularly and usually finds all the spyware and malware on your PC. what I like most is the usability of the software, it's easy to operate and fast.

I have used AVG and Macafee as well as several others in the past, but I haven't found that any of them works as well or as consistently as Cyberdefender. You should really check out the scanner on their website. It's awesome!
