Ok, I called experian yesterday regarding some disputes. Well it was the 31st day and they still had two collections with the same CA as "PENDING". Mr. Dunn told me that the collection agency had until 8-5-02 to respond. Well I call back this morning and another rep told me that they never responded so they are just waiting for their system to update it and delete these two items. Has anyone heard of this? The rep said it sometimes takes 72 hours for their system to delete accts. Why can't they just manually delete them?

First stop calling. You are just getting mis-information. None of what you were told is true, but don't feel bad it happens to all of us when we call.

Give your results time...they will arrive by mail. Did you dispute online, snail mail w/crrrr? If so just relax, results soon come.

Thanks for the response. I really have a problem being patient! I did check the online results this morning and the two collection accounts have been deleted! They were already listed as "included in bankruptcy", but were still affecting my score. This is with Experian, so I am now wondering about reinsertion since others have been complaing about deleted accts reappearing.
