Anyone ever seen a Experian dispute result of 'Reviewed'? Usually I get updated, deleted or remains. For some reason I got a Citi result of 'Reviewed.' It looks more like a 'remains.'
Ok, I called EXP and asked them what that meant. It means that the creditor responded within the 30 days, but said they needed more time to investigate things.
Where in the FCRA gives them a DO-OVER clause just because they respond on the 30th of their 30 day time limit? The law says that they have 30 DAYS to investigate, an extension is only allowed IF YOU send something relevent to the investigation during those 30 DAYS.
They say they resolved my dispute, but found something else wrong that they want to investigate. Should have elaborated on that.
