Couple of months back I had a C/O, I got a letter from creditor saying delete. TU came right off, EQU took a little nudging but EXP was a pain in the rear. I finally had to contact Lisa Howell at the Exec. office, she took care of it right away. During the same time I have a 60 day late (due to fall off 2/03). I call the creditor and cry poor me, doesn't work BUT the rep says you were only 30 days late. I ask her to send it to me, PRESTO 1 week later I got it. I send it to TU, fixed next day. EQU was reporting never late, so I didn't bother. So 12/1 (around there) I CRRR the letter to EXP. comes back verified 12/28. I fax the letter (its on co. letterhead signed w/ a contact number etc.) on 1/2, comes back verified last night. So I decide to give my buddy Lisa Howell (Exe office at EXP) a fax, saying we spoke before BLAH BLAH BLAH, EXP keeps verifying even WITH my proof, please fix this immediately! I look and the item is under investigation AGAIN! I call Lisa Howell and she says "I gave to our customer service department" I told it was sent to her, not the CS dept. cause they are useless and I am NOT going to wait another 30 days. I get the "I'll look into it". I know I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I am basically doing this to see what affect, if any, it will have on my score. UGH! Ok I'm done venting!
Oh for crying out freaking loud!! Now it is fixed but instead of being reported closed (it has been for 6 years) it says open limit $900. Whoa! Maybe I should shut my mouth cause in 1 year it will be positive...hmmm...biting my tongue....
I don't know what to tell you, but I can certainly sympathize! I've had some problems disputing... but then again, they've also changed some "bad" accounts to "good" for me. weird.
