I signed up with Experian's Credit Expert a few day's ago. Last night, I made about 5 disputes online, but when I went to check this morning they only listed one of those accounts in dispute, the first one I did. Should I retry? Also, there was no instant change on my "FAKO" score, as I have heard there would be. Does any one have any suggestions on why this would be? Thanks again!

    1. Double check under "check status of investigation" and see if it happens to show up there". Did you print out the pages verifying acceptance of the dispute?

EX score does not change while in dispute, only EQ.

This seems a good place to post my question.... because it's related. Creditexpert's dispute system deleted two baddies on my account and the score went down! The first deletion was a late on my cap one and the second was a derog. Of course the downage may have happened before they made the deletions. Definitely not after the second deletion. However the score didn't go up at all after either! Does their system take time to refresh or are the deletions in name only but not in affecting the score?

    Hi El,

FICO seems to always take a few days to catch up on what's happening.

Check back in a few days and let us know what happens.

You too Jen. Wait a cpl business days and check again.

    :)

That's what I was guessing. It's only been two days since the first deletion and the second ocurred like an hour ago. Thanks for your swift and good reply!

My score went up by 8 points to a measly 599. It was 630 a few months ago! Anyhow, minus 1 derog and 1 30 days late only pulled me up 8 points. Let's see if that keeps going. According to their simulator I should be ~100 points higher.

What does one usually select when one disputes online with Experian. (or any of the 3 CRAs ) Let say one has...

    one chargeoff from 08/98

    and

    one collections from 08/99

I notice when you attempt online displutes, you have some choices to select; PAYMENT NEVER LATE, PAID IN FULL, ACCOUNT CLOSED, or NOT MY ACCOUNT.

What do you all recommend and find the most sucessfull when you dispute accounts online? What are the selections you find the best way to get something deleted something off your CR?

Well, my score jumped to 610 today with no changes on my credit report. Slowly but surely, the score is beginning to reflect the updates.

There is a collection left. And it's a puny 30$. Anyone recommend a thread about getting a deletion in return for full payment? I can't seem to find any of the many I have read here.
