Hello, All - I disputed a Crap One account as closed that is still reporting as open. I disputed online with Experian yesterday at around 4 pm, and this a.m., it is already verified and updated! Is that possible?? Here's the kicker - it says "This item was verified and updated on 1-2004." Status - Open/Never Late; Your Statement - 09 Account Closed By Consumers Request How could this be? Do I dispute with Crap One directly? Is EXP in violation of anything? I printed yesterday's and today's reports with time stamp (if that helps). Also, how long before Crap One actually reports correctly that I closed the account? Any input would be appreciated...thanks!
They may never report it properly, because they have a vested interested in reporting however they see fit. They did the same thing to me. I have an account that has been closed for YEARS. They refuse to acknowledge the account is closed. It is not the OC. Experian will blame them, but it is Experian who is doing this.
Why on Gods Green Earth would you want to dispute a TL that's status is 'open/never late'? LEAVE IT ALONE! Pray they dont delete it altogether! (not trying to be mean. just think about it.)
