Experian 7 years old

    I have three account that are over 7 years old. One was opened in Feb 1999, one in March 1999, and Feb 2000. I ran a credit report back in November of 2004 with experian. What do i have to do to get these negatives off my account?

    Feb 1999
    Remarks:
    Credit line closed-grantor request reported by subscriber
    Charge off

    March 1999
    Remarks:
    Credit line closed grantor request reported be subscriber
    Charge off

    Feb 2000
    Remarks:
    Not reported paid. Was a collection account, insurance claim or government claim or was termintated for default.

    It can take up to 7.5 years for them to disapear as far as I know.

    Write to the CRA, and tell them the account is "obsolete".

    What Always said. They can't leave those on there. And if they won't comply, there's stuff all over this site to help you fight it.

    What are the dates of delinquency? The 7-year clock starts then, not from date of opening.

    The first appears to be July 2001 and the second appears to be Nov 1999.

    So the first one will not come off until 2008 and the second the end of 2007.
