    accounts missing from CRs

Anybody ever experience this, or know how to remedy this?

My fiance has a few credit cards, but four of them do not show up on his Experian credit report. It makes it look like he has very little credit. One of the accounts has been opened since 1994, and it is not there.

His Discover card does not appear on either his Experian or TU report, but does show on Eq.

His Umbrella card shows on TU and Eq, but not Ex.

His Fleet card show on TU and Eq, but not Ex.

His MBNA card shows on Eq, but not TU or Ex.

Why are they not showing? more importantly, how do we get them added?

You can try writing them and asking them to report. I did that with a Visa I opened in April but had not shown up on Experian. It was reporting on Equifax and Trans Union right away. It showed up a couple of days ago on Experian so I think it worked to write them.

Try calling the accounts directly. Ask them to report it to Experian. One or two may not subscribe to Experian. I've had ZERO luck getting any of the big three to add tradelines of major companies, not the small mom and pop retailers.

    Good luck!
