I called Experian to have all of my previous addresses deleted (18 of them). I told the operator that they are "not mine." I also told her that there are 2 different variations of my social security number on my report also that are "not mine". She said that I will need to speak with their "tri merge" department who will investigate this because of the 2 other social security numbers and previous addresses that are not mine. Is this routine for Experian to get these addresses @ ss numbers deleted?

    Thanks!

I had some of my previous address deleted right over the phone. I just called, said I needed to get some addresses deleted because they were not mine, and the person on the phone said ok, which ones? I actually could have done all of them, but I didn't. I don't know anything about the SSN, you may have to ask someone else about that. Maybe call them again, and see what happens. Usually, if one person doesn't a different person will.

Also EXP can tell you which creditors are reporting your ss # the wrong way. You can contact the creditors and update so it doesn't keep reporting that way.

I had the same thing happen to me regarding the duplicate SSNs and the "tri-merge" dept. After getting cut off during the forward, I called back and just said I wanted to cleanup my addresses. She took about 12 off that weren't mine and then I asked her to take the dup SSN. She did so without questions.

I didn't have issues with my SSN however EX had a total of 35 addresses which were basicaly variations of about 4 of them so I had 31 removed over the phone..

EQ had my wrong current address but I had to send all sorts of proof to get rid of it..
