Does anyone have any ideas on how to get Experian to reinvestigate an item? There is stuff on there that was so called verified a year ago and they won't do a reinvestigation. My disputes come back saying it has already been investigated. Right now I have validation letter out which not one has answered. Then I plan on sending them to Experian. Has anyone had any luck with this? Or do you have any other ideas?

Here is one idea. If it really is not yours.

When this happened to me, I called them. I got a real nice lady and got mad because they had verified 14 items that were not mine (they had merged my report with someone else).. She was in a good mood and started deleting. Got all 14 off, even though they had just been verified twice, once by mail and once online.

A lot depends on the person you get when you call. I got lucky that day.

Usually they won't reinvestigate unless you have some proof to show. i.e. validation ltr sent CRRR, no response, estoppel ltr sent CRRR, no response. Sent them proof demanding they delete since CA can't validate.

Thanks, as soon as 50 days have passed, 10 for mailing to them, 30 to validate and 10 for them to mail back, I will send my proof to experian.

I have a charge-off listed with EXperian. It has come back verified everytime. I can't dispute it online anymore. I had received a letter from a ca about this account. After validation, estoeppel and another 30 days, I sent the entire papertrail crrr to Experian and they verified it again!!

It is very strange because I have my highest score with them but that one has the most junk on it. The other 2 look way better the exp!

Sounds like it's time to file in small claims.

He may have not sent the letters CRRR, and is only using that as an estimate time-frame for the mail. Although the time it takes the CA to send you back something has no bearing or change on the 30 day timeframe they have to validate.
