Right after I started getting my online credit report, Experian started changing my birthdate. When I notified them (online) that it was incorrect, they modified it (removing the day and month, leaving the WRONG YEAR!)

What is the best way to get it fixed while finding out who the HECK put that info there in the first place, and banning them from finding out the right date to put?

I have been a victim of identity theft..and as such, it seems it will be harder to fix my report, since I don't have proof of each place I lived, etc.

Did you file a police report on the identity theft?

have you thought of going to the DMV or EDD , SS office these agencies usually keep those kinds of records.

former employers, banks, schools, doctors office, hospital, utility companies etc you would be surprised how much info you can obtain.

    how about tax records?

if that doesn't help type of a letter with all your personal info on it have it notarized and send a copy to each CRA. see if that resolves the problem.
