    Anyone ever get this...

The status of your investigation is not available for viewing online. Please call 1-800-493-1058 to check the status.

I've been able to check the status of my investigation for the last 2 weeks. I even tried to use a different Report number same result. Anyone have any success with this tonight. It worked for me this morning also by the way.

Likely means you have had a fraud alert placed on your report. They won't let you do anything online if you do this. Call them and see if there is one. If so, you'll need to snail-mail them 2 forms of ID to get it removed. BTW, they are very slow in removing them. I had it removed because the 90 days was up and that was the end of September, and it still hasn't been taken off yet. The guy on the phone today said "We've had more disputes than I've ever seen and we are so very far behind." I thought, "damn, sucks to be you, and I bet you just can't wait for CHOD!!!"

    Thanks... It works today.

I don't have a clue as to why. Maybe I checked status too much.

Matty that is funny...He thinks he is behind now. Can you imagine what that place will be like during CHOD? I can't wait.

Now I'm wondering if I should mail mine on the 25th instead of waiting til mid Dec. My original plan was to have them get them around Frid. the 13th, which gives them until the 2nd of Jan (21 day dispute for Maine) that would put them at the week OF Christmas, and the week of New years. Only 1 full week of work. What do you think? Or, should I just mail them on the 25th like everyone else???

Hmm, I like the sound of this - apparently we have many followers disputing like crazy - CHOD here I come Nov 25th :)

P.S. I'm sending out EVERY DISPUTE in individual letters (one dispute per letter) and I will not do it online anymore.

hehehe, I just wanted to laugh at that poor man, because he didn't have any idea what's to come. I think he was just trying to make an excuse for why they hadn't taken the fraud alert off my report a week after it was due to come off. Anyhow, he'll get his too. :)

I have been trying to do a search of CHOD (alas the search function is still timing out),

So is the concensus of the board to CHOD on 11-25 or better for 12-13 because of xmas & new years?

I have been waiting to dispute a BK7 in hopes that I might get it off then.

I think if we can seriously get everyone to agree to send out on the 25th the CRA are going to have a BIG BIG MESS on their hands - it stands to reason some of us are going to get some serious deletions past them.

    Good luck everyone,

Just tell me when to go. I have a bundle here already CRRR'd. I'll save them for 11/24/02. They better hire more people there will be NO excuses or else they'll be flooded with lawsuits.

"Collector has no receipts? You must delete !!"

Hi, I'm a newbie. I'm guessing that CHOD has something to do with a holidays? Should I send out a letter for each delinquency or just one letter? I know that it works because I signed up with Lexington Law Firm in November of last year and although they did not send out the letters on the 25th. I had many, many deletions in Dec. and Jan. I've never seen such a success rate with them since. I have fired LLF and have begun to do my own work now. Any suggestions?

CHOD reminds me of a bunch of marines storming a beach... a coordinated attack applying the priciples of directed force. The more people that use CHOD, the more success the group will have as a whole.

I'll be using CHOD as well, and I think one of the previous suggestions to send all disputes separately is a good idea. One dispute per CRRR can multiple the volume by 4-5 times.

It will be too much for them to handle.

I second that idea. Separate attacks. We can all benefit from this...
